Everything but the kitchen sink.
My favourite supplies to make parenting easier!
MOBY WRAP ORIGINAL
They say pregnancy has a 4th trimester: being out in the wide world. Wraps give babies security, and making life easier for Mum, too. I used it every day and it instantly calmed my little guy.
BECO SOLEIL BABY CARRIER
My first love. My little guy started in the Beco Soleil in the frog leg position when he was just a baby. He was a big baby so didn’t fit in an insert needed for Ergo. This was the perfect solution for us.
TULA TODDLER CARRIER
The best carrier I’ve used. Super cushy straps make all the difference with a heavy toddler. I hike with mine, too – my little guy prefers being straight on my back compared to a backpack style carrier.
BABYGLOO PROTECTIVE POUCH
This protective pouch really is amazing – I just wish they made a bigger one now for toddlers. It kept my little guy warm and snug in winter. Definitely a must have for baby wearing.
KEEKAROO CHANGE PAD
This is a lifesaver. Soft but impermeable to fluids. Just what you need in a change pad! You can put it straight under a tap to clean with water. Super cute colours – we had the aqua color one.
G DIAPERS AND INSERTS
Love G Diapers. We used them from birth. Option for a cloth insert or an eco “disposable” which goes straight in the compost! Or break it down and flush. They come in super cute designs, too!
BABYLEGS LEG WARMERS
These are adorable and so perfect for EC. Use a combo of a G Diaper and BabyLegs and you’re ready to go. Plus they’re just the cutest – there are so many awesome designs, it’s hard to choose!
BABY BJORN SMART POTTY
This potty is perfect for little ones. Tom started using it at just nine weeks and he’s still using it now aged two and a half years old. The inner potty lifts out, which makes it super easy to clean.
TINY UNDIES EC PANTS
These sadly weren’t available when my little guy was tiny as they start from 6 months+, but if they made them for younger babies I’d have used them. Super cute undies for tiny bums!
THE DIAPER FREE BABY
This is such a great resource for EC, explaining how to try it full-time, part-time and occasionally. Full of practical advice for common challenges, inspiring stories.
GO DIAPER FREE FROM BIRTH

THE TINY POTTY TRAINING BOOK
This book can be used whether you’ve used EC or not. Especially good for those who want a quick, effective, sensible solution to potty training but who don’t want to use force, rewards, sticker charts etc.
NATURE’S SWAY HAMMOCK
My little guy napped in his for hours. The cocoon-like environment and c-curve helps minimise pressure on your baby’s developing spine and nerve pathways. Portable or with a stand.
MERINO KIDS BABY SLEEP BAG
My little guy loves kicking off the covers so these were amazing for him, and made sure so I didn’t get cold co-sleeping. The merino wool creates the perfect safe micro-climate in any season.
MERINO KIDS COCOOI GOWN
Loved our Cocooi! It’s 100% natural allergy-safe New Zealand merino wool. Naturally regulates temp by absorbing and releaseing moisture to warm or cool your baby’s body safely in any climate.
MERINO TODDLER SLEEP BAG
These sleep sacks are expensive but so worth it. Toddlers don’t wake up The merino wool works naturally to absorb then release moisture creating the perfect temperature. And they’re super soft!
HALO BIG KIDS SLEEP SACK
This is the most recent sleep sack we’ve used as our little man outgrew the rest. It’s super cool, with holes for their little feet making it a wearable blanket. We take it everywhere we go!
THE NO CRY SLEEP SOLUTION
A gentle approach with loads of useful advice for helping babies sleep. As the title suggests this is not sleep training – no Cry It Out here. Recommended by James McKenna and Dr Sears.
SLEEPING WITH YOUR BABY
James McKenna really knows sleep. He literally watches mums and babies sleeping at the Notre Dame Sleep Clinic. This is a must have for any new parent deciding where their baby will sleep.
INA MAY’S GUIDE TO BREASTFEEDING
I love Ina May – she’s a living legend, and a heroine of mine after she made me fall in love with breastfeeding. I read this while I was pregnant, and was forever changed by her wisdom.

I loved the wrap around design of this pillow. It saved my back and came everywhere with me, including a couple of long haul flights to New Zealand – little man slept on this for 9 hours.
LILYPADZ SILICONE NURSING PADS
I love these! I felt kind of space age in the beginning but these little pads worked wonders and saved me from having to use disposable pads, so great for the environment as well as me!
THE VACCINE ILLUSION
Oh, the controversy! But that’s because most people only have opinions and not facts. This gives you the facts to start making a decision about whether, when and how you’ll vaccinate your baby.
THE ECZEMA CURE
Our little guy has had eczema since he was a few months old. Through nutrition and other natural methods outlined here we’ve been able to keep Tom’s eczema mild and avoid steroids.
A science-based, easy to use guide to choosing the right foods (and avoiding the wrong ones) to boost your child’s intelligence and improve mood and behavior. A really great resource!

A homeopathic remedy that relieves cold symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose and acute rhinitis in children ages 1+. Comes in super easy to use liquid ampoules.
HYLAND’S BABY TEETHING TABLETS
We’ve used these awesome tablets since our little man started teething. Either mix them in water for small babies or give them as chewable tablets to toddlers. They really work wonders!
AMBER TEETHING NECKLACE
Amber is said to have immune boosting, anti-inflammatory and analgesic capabilities. We noticed a reduction in the amount our little man would drool when he wore his. Worth a try!
THE FERTILITY CONNECTION
Brilliant book – opened my eyes to how subconscious beliefs may be blocking conception. A few months after reading this book and seeing a hypnotherapist we fell pregnant after three years of trying.
FEED YOUR FERTILITY
I wish this book had been available when we were dealing with infertility – I’m sure it would have helped. Emily and Laura write from the heart and tackle the root causes of infertility. Highly recommended!
THE INFERTILITY CURE
Dr Lewis writes presents a groundbreaking alternative approach. I took a lot away from this on our journey to conceiving our son. A must read if you’re dealing with fertility issues.
Written by two fertility specialists in New York, this is an excellent read for those trying to conceive naturally. It gave a unique insight with both western and TCM approaches to fertility issues.
LITTLE PARTNERS LEARNING TOWER
This is expensive, but has been the single best item we’ve bought for our little guy. He LOVES helping in the kitchen and this has given him independence, and peace of mind for me. A great investment!
RADIO FLYER WALKING WAGON
Oh boy, we LOVE our sweet red wagon. It helped our little man learn to walk. And we had hours of fun pushing him around in it when he was smaller. PLus, it looks really cool!
STRIDER BALANCE BIKE
This is the perfect little lightweight balance bike for toddlers. Our little man loves his! We’re hoping he’ll skip the training wheels and go straight from this to a “big boy” bike!

INA MAY’S GUIDE TO CHILDBIRTH
Ina May is a legendary midwife. She takes the fear out of childbirth and tells of the benefits by showing women how to trust in the ancient wisdom of their bodies for a fulfilling experience.
THE OTHER BABY BOOK
This was the first book I read about Attachment Parenting and it blew my mind. Megan and Miriam are two moms who turn the “rules” of modern motherhood upside down. An absolute must read.”
We all love our children unconditionally. But as Alfie points out, all that matters is if they feel that. Love is a verb and Alfie shows us typical parenting strategies are toxic as they withhold love.
Kids are too busy! ADD, ADHD, tantrums, anxiety. Where is it coming from? Too much stuff, too many choices, too little time. Kim offers practical advice to help kids deepen their attention spans.
THE WHOLE BRAIN CHILD
I was fascinated to learn how children’s brains work and develop and what we can expect from them at certain ages. It teaches how to connect more with our kids and be more relaxed parents.
